Your pet will slowly lose weight if it have tapeworm.Stomach worms live in a cat’s stomach and it usually get inside the cats stomach if it ingests the vomits of an infected animal. It will cause the animal to lose weight and vomit.
Worms are very dangerous for cats. So you should take your cat to a veterinarian as soon as possible. He will prescribe proper medication to cure the condition. It is recommended that you should deworm your cat twice in a year. It’s even better to give a monthly dose of worm treatment to the cats. All you need to do is to crush the tablets and keep the residue in the cat’s food. Nowadays there are many products available in the market formulated for removal and prevention of hook, round, and tapeworms. However heart worms cannot be cured by any of these treatments, it’s a very serious condition and you should take the pet to the veterinarian for curing it.
